We are happy to have found another piece of the puzzle for a successful business exchange between Germany and Africa. Together with CrowdDesk we could enter into a cooperation that enables us to finance projects in Africa selected by us. Through our own crowdinvestment platform “afriboomcrowd.eu” we are able to raise money to grant loans to our African clients so that they can efficiently implement their projects with our help. With only little effort, investors of our crowd have the opportunity to contribute to the economic development of Africa and at the same time achieve an above-average return.

Our goal has always been to support entrepreneurs with vision. And such “African Champions” cannot be measured by their equity. Through our Microfinance Institute, which we have successfully launched on the Cameroonian market since January 2020, we are finally able to provide financial support to entrepreneurs of all sizes. We can bring from 100€ to millions our commitment and expertise to projects and support them through our financing elements, if we are convinced of its background and vision. We want to give the lone fighters of Africa, who struggle through despite their difficult environment, the kind of help that will advance them in their entrepreneurial development.

For a long time, Africa played hardly any role for the German economy. While Chinese companies have been increasingly pushing into African markets since the turn of the millennium, German companies have remained reluctant. But the trend seems to be changing: In the last ten years, German investments have almost doubled. Trade has also seen an upswing, according to the Africa Association of German Business. And more and more major German companies are announcing plans to invest beyond South Africa’s highly industrialized region. Thus, afriboom GmbH set itself the goal years ago to make the exchange with the African market attractive for German, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. African entrepreneurs should not only be strengthened by investments, but it is also our intention to “export” a part of our German expertise and professional competence to Africa.
